This year’s Carrboro Day poetry reading includes a new feature — the first annual readings by the winners of the town’s Youth Poetry Contest. Playmakers announces season
PlayMakers Repertory will put on nine plays embodying everything from Shakespearean adventure to coping with HIV/AIDS in its 2008-2009 season. Transactors Improv will celebrate “April in Paris (of the Piedmont)” at The ArtsCenter on Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m. The improvised show’s themes are life in Carrboro and spring.
