As per the article in this week’s Citizen, Sen. Ellie Kinnaird’s case for Costco in a letter to alderman Dan Coleman.

    Does she really think “Costco will not compete with any existing Carrboro business?” Is she aware that Costco sells groceries, clothes, furniture, and other items that most certainly ARE already for sale at locally-owned businesses in Carrboro?

    Her position is quite mystifying.
