Dear Mrs. Edwards, I have been a fan of yours since your husband was running as VP with John Kerry and you had a press conference on one of the cable channels. I thought, now why is she not running for President?

I think you are smart, well informed and most definitely the better half in your marriage. I do hope sincerely you will come through this also. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. My wish is that you recover so you will be around for many, many years.

Good luck with your lovely store. My husband and I are planning to visit North Carolina in the spring and will make your store one of our stops.

I saw you on TV all the way from NJ. I will keep you in my prayers. I know prayer helps and miracles still happen even My mother is living proof. She is a kidney patient transplant patient and had Gael batter surgery. While at the hosp. she contracted the flesh eating bacteria disease. They could not treat her aggressively because her body would reject her kidney. Long story short the doctors said she had least then an 1/8 of an inch. before it hit her vital organs. They told my family she had 24 hrs. or less to live. I had every person from so many different religions praying for her. I figure God would have to heal her because he would get tried of hearing her name. I do believe everything happens for a reason for the most part. And that there is always a lesson to be learned from this horrible experience, while the lesson is for you or someone who knows you. One of my mothers Doctors said, “I never believed in miracles until I met you”. Tell your family and friends and doctors not to give up prayer.
I hope I’ll be able to shop on line with your furniture some day. Good luck with your new adventure with your business.

Congratulations on opening your new store. Bless you for holding your head high in spite of adversity. You are a true inspiration to other women who have gone through difficult times. I admire you tremendously and am anxious to come visit your store, along with 7 of my friends, later this month.

As for John Griffin – your remarks would have been better left unsaid. You show no compassion or empathy for this special lady and her children who have been through so much. Shame on you! (Just for the record, I’m a registered Republican, but a human being first!)

I see the Edwards’ have found another way to take $$$ from North Carolinians. First John chasing ambulances, then as our most worthless no show senator ever, then as a part of our educational system at the “poverty center” to further his political aspirations. And now, Elizabeth selling overpriced furniture.
