BUY LOCAL – Advertise in your community newspaper!

The Carrboro Citizen is the only locally owned and operated newspaper covering the greater Carrboro-Chapel Hill area. Our paper is published every Thursday, and is distributed free in racks at roughly 160 locations (as of October 2009) in and around Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, Southern Village, and along 15-501 in northern Chatham County. Our current press run is 6000 copies (as of October 2009.)

NOT “JUST” A CARRBORO NEWSPAPER

While we certainly are proud of our coverage of Carrboro, we also take pride in covering local government, news and events in Chapel Hill, Orange County and northern Chatham County. We now actually distribute more papers each week in Chapel Hill than in Carrboro, and are well read in Hillsborough, Pittsboro, the White Cross area, and points in between.
