Students receive computers

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Community Connection Program awarded 76 student households with free computers last week.
Through the program, the district partners with Kramden Institute of Durham. The program is aimed at ensuring that every district student is equipped with the tools required for success in the 21st century classroom. Students and parents also received an introduction to the computer they received and pre-installed applications.
Community Connection and Kramden Institute have previously awarded 475 computers to underserved district students.
