School brief: Board meet

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education meets tonight (Thursday) at 7 at the Chapel Hill Town Hall on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Top items on the agenda include:
• School Improvement Plans for schools not meeting Adequate Yearly Progress in math;
• the opening-of-school report;
• Superintendent Neil Pedersen’s evaluation;
• the school district’s continuation budget; and
• the district’s Capital Improvement Plan for 2008-18.
