The RSVP 55+ Volunteer Program of Orange County is recruiting adults with accounting-type experience to join the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to train to prepare tax returns.
Training is also provided for other positions. Bilingual speakers are needed. Volunteers will work four-hour shifts in Orange and Chatham counties.
VITA is a free IRS program administered in Orange and Chatham counties by the Orange County RSVP 55+ Volunteer Program. Orientation begins in early December. To volunteer, call 968-2054 or visit www.co.orange.nc.us/aging/RSVPindex.asp
