School Brief: Back to School Day

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro PTA Council and University Mall will host the annual Back-to-School Day at University Mall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Representatives from each Chapel Hill-Carrboro school will be on hand to talk with parents and students, and parents will be able to join their school’s PTA. In addition, representatives from middle and high school booster clubs will be there to talk about sports opportunities and to sell school-spirit items.

WCHL and Communities in Schools are accepting school supply donations, which can be left in receptacles at the mall until Saturday. WCHL will broadcast live from the event.
