After fixing a security flaw that led to a security breach through its website, the Orange County Register of Deeds office has reopened the county’s online property database, county officials announced Tuesday.
The site was hacked July 30 and the Register of Deeds database was infected with “malicious code,” according to a press release from the county last week. No members of the public were affected, the release said.
