Aug 7, 2008 Land and Table Jump to Comments

The Blue Urban Bikes project, a bicycle-sharing program born from a collaboration between The ReCYCLEry and SURGE, was awarded the Go Chapel Hill Community Cycling Award at the annual “Kick Gas” celebration on June 26 at the Research Triangle Park Headquarters.

The Blue Urban Bikes program, or BUB, allows users to pick up and borrow bikes for 24 hours at a time for a $10 annual membership fee. BUB hubs with bikes available are located around town and memberships can be bought at hub locations. For more information, see recyclery.info/blue_urban_bikes.
