Jul 24, 2008 Land and Table Jump to Comments

ChathamArts will sponsor another Potluck in a Pasture event on Aug. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harland’s Creek Farm off Plantation Drive west of Pittsboro. Visitors should bring a dish made with local ingredients to share (with at least eight) along with their recipe, a drink, a blanket and lawn chairs. The evening includes a tour of the historic farm and a supper with artists and other potluck-chefs. ChathamArts asks for a $10 donation per person and $5 for kids from age 5-12.

Artists that will speak about their trade include ceramicist Salinda Dahl, sculptor Susan Draughon, wood turner Joel Hunnicutt and potter Melody Troncale. Laine Lipson and Avis Autry will provide singing and piano accompaniment.
