Mr Foster has my kudos for his groups efforts, but two fundamental laws of politics are going to be impossible to overcome:

Rule 1 is "as long as there is a big enough reward, the big money special interests will find a way to "creatively reward" legislators willing to steer those benefits to them" and Rule 2 is "every effort at "campaign finance reform" will be met by an equal and opposite well funded and suiccessful attempt to get around it".

Have you checked out www.ourcaucus.com at all?

That web site exposes exactly how the big money special interest groups work hand in hand with incumbents to circumvent the system...and they managed to help a challenger beat an incumbent in Utah even though the incumbent was funded by "big money" and outspent the challenger by over 6 to 1.
