Seventeen string students from Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools represented the district at the North Carolina Junior All-State Orchestra Concert on May 3 at North Moore High School.

Chapel Hill-Carrboro All-State Orchestra students are: Chia Yen Sung, Forrest Li and Jonathan Dolan, Culbreth Middle School; Alice Huang, Cissy Yu, Sandhya Mahadevan, Tsai-Wei Cheng, Sirui Wang, Eric Chiou, Angie Edwards, Lewis Peel and Kyle Jordan, Phillips Middle School; and Oskar Marzalek, Chisung Cho, Paul Lee, Galen Kirkpatrick and Addy Rigdon, Smith Middle School.

The students were selected to the orchestra after auditioning among more than 400 of the best string students in the state.
