Kindergarten students at McDougle Elementary School sell flowers as part of the school’s annual “Bunny Ville” event in teacher Karen Reid’s classroom on Friday. For Bunny Ville, students hosted their own businesses, including a pizza shop, ice cream shop, museum, hospital, flower garden and art jewelry shop, and classroom visitors received $10 in “bunny bucks” to spend on products and services at the students’ businesses. The activity is aimed at teaching students economics, community, cooperative learning and social skills. Photo by Lucy Butcher.
