Chapel Hill-Carrboro district alumni were inducted into the Chapel Hill High School/Lincoln High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Inductees were Mike Earey, basketball; Dovonte Edwards, football; Robert Edwards, football; Lizzie Newton, lacrosse; Steve Scott, soccer; and Coach Joe Augustine, football. Dovonte Edwards plays football for the Detroit Lions.
Since 2002, individuals, coaches and teams have been inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame to recognize their athletic success during high school and beyond.
