We want to thank Reps. David Price and Mel Watt for their endorsements of Barack Obama, the clear choice for the Democratic nomination.

We are glad they listened to North Carolina voters, more than 2,000 of whom have signed petitions over the past two months asking N.C. superdelegates to back Obama.

Polls have consistently shown Obama is favored by the Democratic and Independent voters who will decide North Carolina’s primary on May 6.
