News Brief: Food pantry donation

Apr 24, 2008 News Jump to Comments

The Inter-Faith Council for Social Service recently received $3,000 from the Food Lion Charitable Foundation.

The IFC will use the gift to support its Food Pantry and the more than 1,200 households that visit the pantry each month for needed groceries.

The IFC depends on donated goods and funds to keep up with the demand for services. The Food Lion Charitable Foundation provides financial support for programs and organizations dedicated to improving the communities in which Food Lion operates.
