The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association has launched a new, searchable food guide on carolinalocalfood.org. Visitors to the website can find local farms, markets and other information about local food in North and South Carolina. Farmers and businesses may add their own listings.

Along with the guide, CFSA has begun a campaign called the “Eat Carolina Food Challenge.” Participants agree that they will eat only food produced in North or South Carolina for the week of July 7-13. Entrants will blog about the experience and a winner will receive free admission to CFSA’s 23rd Sustainable Agriculture Conference in late October.
