News Brief: Discount rabies vaccine

Apr 17, 2008 News Jump to Comments

Orange County’s Animal Services Department continues its low-cost rabies vaccination clinics this week. Under state law, pets over the age of four months must have a current rabies vaccination. The clinics are April 19, from 10 a.m. to noon, and April 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orange County Animal Shelter off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Chapel Hill.

The vaccination fee is $5 and must be paid in cash. To receive a three-year vaccination, bring your pet’s most recent vaccination certificate. For more information, call 245-2075.
