Apr 17, 2008 News, Politics Jump to Comments

Jim Neal, candidate for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, will cast his ballot at the early-voting site at Morehead Planetraium, his campaign announced this week. Neal, an investment banker who lives in Chapel Hill, is scheduled to cast his ballot at 4 p.m. Friday.

A recent poll showed Neal and state Sen. Kay Hagan of Greensboro nearly tied in the contest to decide who will face Republican U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole in the fall.
