The Carrboro Farmers’ Market Wednesday market is back and opened for the first time yesterday. The Wednesday market is open from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday. The Saturday market is 7 a.m. until noon.

The 13th Annual Piedmont Farm Tour will take place April 19-20 from 1-6 p.m. The tour includes 35 piedmont farms and costs $30 per car at the farms or $25 in advance. Advance tickets are available at Weaver Street Markets in Carrboro and Southern Village and the General Store Cafe in Pittsboro, as well as other locations. There will be a kick-off event at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 17 on the Weaver Street Lawn.

The Chapel Hill Garden Club will hold its Spring Garden Tour Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, April 13, from noon to 4 p.m. The tour is self-guided and includes 10 private gardens. Refreshments, exhibits, a raffle, live music, demonstrations and plant sales will be held at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of.
