The Carrboro High School band prepares to lead thousands of walkers down Franklin Street at Saturday’s Walk for Education fundraiser. It is the first time they have participated in the walk. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation. This was the walk’s 11th year. More pictures of the event are available online at www.carrborocitizen.com.
