Giuseppina Maria “JoJo” Finazzo, 22, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007.  She was a native of Durham County and grew up in her family’s Italian Restaurant, Sal’s Pizza. After graduating from East Chapel Hill High School, she received her CAN and was currently working as a teacher’s assistant at Carrboro Elementary School. Her goal was to become a nurse. She loved children and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all of her relatives, friends, and everyone who knew her.

Finazzo is survived by her loving father, Joe Finazzo; her stepmother, Cathy; her loving sister and friend, Anna; her sister, Alexandra; and brother, Jeremy.

The visitation will be held at Walker’s Funeral Home in Chapel Hill on Saturday from two to four p.m. and Sunday from five to eight p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Mausoleum.

Arrangements are by Walker’s Funeral Home of Chapel Hill, 120 W. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, N.C., 27516.
