A rather warm evening didn’t wilt the enthusiasm for the opening of Carrboro High School last Thursday (above). It was an event so exhilarating that most of the students, teachers and parents sat patiently through a half-dozen speeches congratulating them on their new school. (Well, most of the students anyway.) Featured entertainment included the newly minted Jaguar band (below) led by director Frank Jones.
