Sheehan on tour

Word spread quickly last week that Cindy Sheehan would be swinging through town on her impeachment push. Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in Iraq, has called for both President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to be impeached for war crimes.

She stopped in at Carr Mill Mall for lunch Thursday with representatives of Grassroots Impeachment Movement and Carrboro Mayor Mark Chilton. The event drew dozens of spectators and a sizeable number of media representatives. Below, Sheehan offers up her views on the war and impeachment for the press.
