Carrboro Day 2007

Windy, Wild and Wonderful
No denying it — Carrboro Day is for kids of all ages, and last Sunday’s breezy celebration was no different. Mostly that means the little ones, like 5-year-old Flora Arnsberger (above), who spent a little time making spin art…

…or 2-year-old Grey Garcia, who got up off the storytime quilt to give Mother Goose’s (Lulu Royster’s) pet a little scritch on the bill.

There was also plenty of fun for the older kids — like Mathew Barton, who spent most of the afternoon picking cotton candy off his sleeves as chief candy-swirler for Boyscout Troop 45.
