Obituary – Peggy L. Cashwell

Peggy L. Cashwell, 76, of Carrboro, died Monday afternoon at UNC Hospitals.

A native of Orange County, she was a member of Carrboro United Methodist Church and was retired from Liggett and Myers where she had worked for 35 years.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Carrboro United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Woodhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Westwood Cemetery.

She is survived by a sister, Patricia L. Neville, and her husband, Gordon, and many nieces and nephews. She loved them all like they were her own.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 Wednesday evening at Walker’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill.
