I am the son of the ministers that founded Faith Tabernacle Church. I have lived and worshiped under my parents on Purefoy Dr and Rogers Rd. since the seventies. Minister Campbell spoke well of the plight of the community. It is tenuous for me because I matriculated from the University, and most if not all of my fellow alums and the current students I have befriended are oblivious to the trash conditions on Eubanks.

I remember as a child I would ride my bike to the "dump" to scavage for "stuff". On my way, I would be greeted with trash that lined the sides of the road. One day, I even came across discarded porn magazines. There was much that could be found at the site. When they fenced the general drop off area, we all assumed we were moving to a new and improved system/era. It is sad to reflect now, especially considering the contamination, that things are worse. Property taxes have increased and so has the trashed.

Excellent article. The Orange County Board is nothing but a bunch of racists. I have emailed them and told them as much. So much for democrats being progressive. Guess it is okay as long as you are not black.

I LOVE your paper and appreciate your work.

Regards,
